A Story Rooted in Nature & Design

Jason and Tara met in 1997—he was an ice cream man, and she was a park worker. From the very beginning, they shared a deep love for nature, art, and design, a passion that would eventually shape their future.

In 2005, they purchased a blank slate property—a stretch of land that would become a personal design project, bringing together architecture, landscape design, and plant science. While others saw an empty lot, Jason envisioned something greater. Over the years, they designed and shaped their property into a fully immersive, natural landscape, proving that a well-designed outdoor space isn’t just an addition—it’s an experience.

By 2017, they officially founded Environmental Artistry, bringing that vision to the world.

A Vision Shaped by Experience

What started as a simple love for nature and design evolved into a deep understanding of how landscapes shape our lives. At Environmental Artistry, we believe outdoor spaces should be both functional and meaningful—places where families grow, ecosystems thrive, and beauty stands the test of time.

Jason’s decade of experience as an account manager at Marders refined his expertise in high-end estate management and design. With a keen eye for artistry and function, he transforms outdoor spaces into living works of art, seamlessly blending form, structure, and aesthetic detail. Tara’s passion for plant health and her artistic vision ensure that sustainability and creativity are thoughtfully integrated into every project.

For us, it’s not just about plants and hardscapes—it’s about creating living environments that tell a story, much like the one we've cultivated on our own land. Our journey, from transforming a blank slate into a thriving landscape, has fueled our mission to help others do the same.
